Kouji is an app that lets you create your own fun avatars on your Android device. Unlike other similar apps like Bitmoji and Zepeto, Kouji gives you the possibility to see your characters move and interact in augmented reality.
The first step after creating an account in Kouji is to design your first avatar. To do this, it offers a pretty intuitive editor where you can adjust different aspects of your avatar's face, eye color, hairstyle, and clothing.
After that, you'll move on to the main screen with an interface that's similar to Instagram Stories. Here, you can change the look of each character, meet up with your friends' avatars, or change the background. But the really cool part comes in when you start to use your device's camera to play around with the augmented reality feature. To do this, all you have to do is tap the corresponding button and aim the camera at a flat surface.
Kouji also lets you record videos and even make your avatar talk with your voice. This makes it easy to share fun content on your social networks. Surprise your friends and family with your very own animated characters in augmented reality.

The app doesn't work on my phone 😔
